AIA was founded in 1985 for families of Indian origin to get together and celebrate various cultural festivals and to promote the rich and diverse customs and art forms of India.
Since its foundation, the organization has grown from small group of families to over 200 families from the local surrounding counties: Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, and Saint Lucie counties.
The primary goal of our organization is to impart our Indian heritage and culture to our children and to make our values and heritage available to community at large and have them understand it's richness and is basic goal to be all inclusive.
Along with celebrating various cultural events, AIA actively participate in local community by providing contribution to charitable community organization, fundraising for cancer research, providing Thanksgiving dinner to families in need and providing scholarship to deserving students.
We encourage all members to actively participate and contribute to the prosperous existence of our Association.
Atlantic India Association is a non-profit organization (Federal ID #65-0016332).
